I admit it: I was not a very good blogger last week. After my 100% completely non-gloating post last Monday, regarding the Redskins loss to the Lions (for which I suppose they kinda sorta maybe redeemed themselves yesterday), I got busy.
I had (and still have, actually) multiple projects at work that need my attention. Not that I’m complaining, mind you. It’s nice to be needed. But considering that I had evolved into a mostly morning blogger, posts became more difficult to dash off.
And I could have gone back to writing them the night before – which I actually prefer – but somehow there was always something going on – training, babysitting, keeping up with life in general. I won’t lie, a lot of time was spent on the computer, but most of it was dedicated to watching my Phillies clinch their third consecutive NL East title – and eventually win home field advantage in the division series! Yay!
In any case, blogging just took a backseat. I’m not done, by any means. Only recently did I celebrate my one year blogoversary, and I realized that I still have plenty of stories (embarrassing or otherwise), observations and rants left to share. Not to mention the occasional pleading for advice from you, my very wise readers.
So, thanks for humoring my brief hiatus, and let’s get back on track, shall we?
Starting tomorrow, though, since I really should get at least one work project done.
